About our live beercasts:
When: Fridays from around 4pm to 8pm and Saturdays from around 2pm to 6pm. Notifications of the Beercasts go out via Twitter. To receive notifications, please subscribe to follow Beer Molly at: http://www.twitter.com/beermolly
Where: Generally wherever we are. Most weekends this will be at Port Brewing and The Lost Abbey, but it could be most anywhere we are.
How: We use a mini-laptop (Asus eeepc) and a Logitech camera with built-in mike. Video quality varies based on the amount of bandwidth we have with the wireless signal. Additionally, we broadcast using one of two services: ustream.tv and/or justin.tv. Each service has its strengths and weaknesses (often one or the other is blocked by the wifi service we happen to be using), so it varies on which one we pick. Either way, you’ll always be able to see it here.
