A 12% ABV light lager from Holland. Years ago I’ve has the regular stuff, available at Trader Joe’s and other fine establishments, but was not aware other Oranjeboom products.
Interesting flavor/mouth feel. Somewhat like a regular lager, but a bit more sweet and once in your mouth you can smell the alcohol, with a slight peppery taste. I doubt it’s hops, and I’m assuming it’s the alcohol.
Just a guess, but to redo the flavor at home pour 12oz of your favorite light lager, Keystone light, etc., into a 14oz glass, add 1 dash pepper, 2 dashes of sugar and fill the glass to the top with vodka and enjoy.
